QIAGEN: Immune competence and tumor-specific response of Vδ1 T cells in endometrial cancer: Implications for PD-1 blockade therapy

18/06/2025 13:30 14:15
Auditorium 8

Discover the role of Vδ1 T cells in endometrial cancer, a gynecological malignancy with rising incidence and mortality rates. This talk will highlight the correlation between the presence of Vδ1 T cells in tumor lesions and improved overall survival in patients, and how the expression of PD-1 on tumor-infiltrating Vδ1 T cells impacts their effector functionality. This presentation also explores how PD-1 blockade enhances the cytotoxic response against autologous tumor cells. Specifically, an approach based on γδ TCR repertoire analysis will be presented to demonstrate how these cells exhibit characteristics of tumor-reactive cells.
