The laboratory analyses epigenetic modifications using state-of-the-art technologies and develops the bioinformatic tools for the processing of such data with the aim of implementing epigenetic modifications for personalized medicine. The laboratory focuses on epigenetic changes in cancer and inflammatory diseases as well as in function of environmental exposure. A second research axis investigates novel technologies for the analysis of liquid biopsy and their impact on treatment management.
