I am a cancer biologist at MDC-BIMSB studying how normal cells transition into malignancy and how the tumor microenvironment evolves during cancer progression and metastasis. My research focuses on breast cancer, particularly triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), using a range of in vivo models (GEMMs and PDXs) and in vitro systems, including 3D organoids and co-cultures, combined with state-of-the-art single-cell and spatial technologies.
